Greenstone was founded by four co-founders, petroleum and drilling engineers with a shared frustration: the best geosteering tools were too expensive, too fragile, and built by people who had never stood in a ROC at 2am watching a well kick.
Mohamadmehdy Ahi
I bring over 15 years in oil and gas: five in deep technical work as a petrophysicist and ten leading businesses. As CEO of REPPCO for six years, I grew the company to more than 80 people and secured over €30M in contracts, including €15M in directional drilling. In 2018 I conceived GeoMaster and have been the mind behind it ever since. Today I lead Greenstone Energy, founded with my three co-founders to take GeoMaster to the world.
Amin Abbasi
I am a drilling engineer with over 15 years in oil and gas, from mud logging and directional drilling on the rig to leading technology as a company founder. As co-founder and CTO of REPPCO, I led the technical team behind its drilling projects in complex, heterogeneous carbonate reservoirs, and then its quality assurance, the field work GeoMaster grew from. Since 2019 I have aligned the company I co-founded with ISO 9001, 10004 and 14001, and today I lead quality across Greenstone Energy as one of its four co-founders.
Siavash (Sia) Salehi
I bring 12 years across oil and gas and global enterprises, with a focus on business development and international relationships. As a co-founder of REPPCO, I built its international partnerships, securing MOUs with Chinook Canada and ROGII and presenting geosteering solutions to national oil operators. I have since worked at multinational enterprises including Zimmer Biomet and Kleenex, and from Sydney I lead business development for GeoMaster as one of the four co-founders of Greenstone Energy.
Kiarash Angoshtary
I am a petroleum engineer who moved from real-time geosteering into product leadership. At REPPCO I steered wells through complex, heterogeneous carbonate reservoirs with LWD and MWD data and helped research and test geosteering software in the field. Since 2023 I have led GeoMaster's product, turning what geologists need on the rig into features, and today I am one of the four co-founders of Greenstone Energy.
